Advertising is really pimping

Have you seen the pictures of Miley Cyrus in a bed sheet with tousled hair? And nothing else on? What a typical ad you say. Not quite. She's 15. And not selling anything. Except herself apparently.

Now we're whoring out 15 year olds in our magazines. Didn't we all exclaim with disgust when Britney went on her antics. Aren't we sick of Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton? They why are we making another one? Is this country full of pedophiles desperate to look at a half naked 15 year old girl?

This on the heels of the polygamist sex abusers with over half of the 14-17 year olds pregnant or already have kids and none married. I'm disgusted. I thought we got more civilized over the years. Not less.

Someone needs to get a handle on the ads in our country. If you want to lower the number of teen pregnancies, don't put pictures of half naked 15 year old girls in magazines. Don't make clothes for pre-teens that are too low and too tight. Don't advertise condoms and birth control all hours of day. Ok yes I'm in the group that thinks that if you advertise it, you promote it. Why else do people advertise?
